The bishop visited the new church of the community in Vinnitsa, which refused to transfer to the OCU

In 2019, the UOC community, expelled from their church in Vinnitsa, acquired a house for worship, and for two years the rector, together with assistants, worked on its arrangement. This was reported by the UOJ.

The head of the Vinnitsa diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Vinnitsa and Barsk Varsonuphius, visited the church of St. Prince Alexander Nevsky in Vinnitsa, which is being set up for itself by the UOC community, which has refused to move to the OCU.

The bishop was accompanied by the secretary of the diocese, Archimandrite Arkady (Senchukovsky), the dean of the 1st city district, Archpriest Bogdan Malinovsky, and the rector of the church, Archpriest Viktor Parandyuk.

At the beginning of 2019, the UOC community led by Fr. Victor Parandyuk lost her church in honor of St. book Alexander Nevsky, who was on the territory of the Higher Professional School of the Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The believers were expelled after their categorical refusal to go into schism, citing the law on renaming the Church.
