On July 3, 2021, an assembly of the vicariate of Orthodox parishes of the Russian tradition (part of the metropolis of the Church of Constantinople in France) took place. As reported on the Facebook page La lettre du vicariat, on this day the former head of the metropolis, now metropolitan of Chalcedon, Emmanuel (Adamakis) attended and chaired the meeting.
The hierarch also served a liturgy, during which he performed two consecrations: a representative of the parish in the city of Agen Cyrille was ordained a deacon, and deacon Théophile (a parish in Rennes) was ordained a priest.
The meeting participants got acquainted with the report of metropolitan Emmanuel and the message of the head of the Church of Constantinople.
