In Athens, a priest threw vitriol at members of the Synodal Court of the Church of Greece

As a result of the attack of the priest Theophylact Kombos during the session of the Synodal court in the Petraki monastery in Athens, seven metropolitans, a secretary, two lawyers and a policeman were injured, writes the Orthodox times.

The priest reportedly pthrew vitriol at the metropolitans, and they were taken to the hospital with burns to their hands and face.

Theophylact Kombos belongs to the Metropolis of Vera and was ordained in Libya.
