The UOC denied fakes about the violent death of the late Metropolitan Mitrofan

The head of the information department, Metropolitan of Nezhinsky and Priluksky Clement (Supper), said that Metropolitan Mitrofan (Yurchuk) of Lugansk died after falling down the stairs during a heart attack, Phraza writes.

The hierarch denied the stuffing that the media have been spreading in recent days.

Answering a question from the Glavkom journalist, who stated that the LPR forensic medical examination document indicated a head injury as the cause of death, Metropolitan Kliment said: “As the close bishops reported, during a heart attack he fell down the stairs and was injured.” The head of the information department of the UOC pointed out that “Vladyka Mitrofan complained for a long time about angina pectoris and high blood pressure. In the near future he was going to go to the hospital with these problems. Unfortunately, he did not have time to do this.”
