Ex-President Petro Poroshenko on the Day of the Holy Trinity took part in the liturgy at the Patriarchal Church of St. George on Phanar, after which he met with Patriarch Bartholomew.

The service was headed by Patriarch Bartholomew. Poroshenko posted photos on his Facebook page.

After the service, the head of the Phanar received Poroshenko along with his wife Marina and his supporters. The meeting was also attended by Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon (Adamkis). As the website writes, discussed “various current issues” and the visit of Bartholomew to Kiev.
