Cabinet of Ministers prolonged quarantine, but lifted restrictions on churches

At a meeting on June 16, the Cabinet of Ministers softened the quarantine, allowing mass events to be held without limiting the distance between those present, only the requirement to wear masks remains in force.

This was announced by the Minister of Culture and Information Alexander Tkachenko, writes LB.

“Now the holding of mass events (cultural, entertainment, religious, advertising, etc.) in the premises is allowed with 100% filling. Without limiting the distance between those present. However, participants and event organizers must use protective masks or respirators. If all those present have negative results of a test for COVID-19, which was done in no more than 72 hours, or a document of the full course of vaccination – the restrictions indicated above do not apply,” the minister said.
