In the near future, the OCU will be recognized by two more Patriarchs, writes the pro-Fanar media Orthodox Times. What kind of patriarchy is not specified.
“I was informed,” writes the author of the article, “that in the near future the Orthodox Church of Ukraine will be recognized by two more Patriarchates. The process has been delayed due to the pandemic and all the shocks that the coronavirus has brought to the planet. I think not everyone will be happy with this development of events.
It is possible that new friction will arise between the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Moscow Patriarchate. But there is no other way out.
The Ecumenical Patriarch wants this issue to be resolved and step by step all Churches recognize the Orthodox Church of Ukraine as an equal member in the great Orthodox family.”
