On June 7, the presentation of the handwritten Bible took place in the national reserve “Sophia Kievskaya”. Ex-presidents and representatives of all confessions, except for the UOC-KP, were invited to the official event, the “Slovo pro slovo” writes.

Three representatives of the UOC were invited to the event, one is the head of the OCU Epiphany Dumenko, the head of the UGCC Svyatoslav Shevchuk. Representatives of the RCC, Evangelists, Adventists and others were also invited. In addition, the organizers invited two ex-presidents of Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk and Viktor Yushchenko, to speak. Officials and politicians, representatives of the CMU, including Andrey Yurash and representatives of the Kyiv City State Administration, were also invited to the presentation.

The organizer of the project is the Ukrainian Bible Society.

More than 30,000 people took part in the rewriting of the Bible. The handwritten Bible set three national records.
