In the village in Rivne region, a new church of the UOC was consecrated instead of the captured by OCU

In the Rivne region in the village of Pevche, a new church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, instead of the one captured by supporters of the OCU, writes Vzglyad.

The rite of consecration of the new church and the Divine Liturgy in it were performed by the vicar of the Rivne diocese, Bishop  Pimen.

After the service, the clergy and believers walked in a procession around the church, after which Bishop Pimen congratulated the abbot and believers on the consecration of the church.

As reported, on May 12, 2019, the local church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Pevche was seized by supporters of the OCU.
