On May 21, 2021, on the day of commemoration of the holy Apostle John the Theologian, UOC Chancellor, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, laid a capsule in the construction of a church in honor of St. Lawrence of Chernigov in the village. Cellars of the First Brovary Deanery in the Kiev region. This was reported by the press service of the Boryspil eparchy of the UOC.

Vladyka Anthony addressed the audience with an archpastoral speech and thanked the rector, parishioners and benefactors of the construction of the church for their loyalty to the canonical Church in Ukraine.

The parish in honor of the Monk Lawrence of Chernigov was formed with the blessing of Metropolitan Anthony after the raiders of the OCU illegally confiscated the Holy Dormition Church from the religious community in 2019.
