The journalist reminded the hierarchs of the OCU of their earlier statements about Filaret

Journalist Yuri Doroshenko, who actively supports the restoration of the Kyiv Patriarchate, reminded the hierarchs of the OCU how they spoke about Filaret in the old days. An article on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the appointment of the then hierarch of the ROC to the Kyiv cathedra was published on the official website of the UOC-KP.

“The Kyiv Patriarchate conciliarly elected lord Filaret as its primate for life. There are no canonical or statutory grounds for his removal from office. On the contrary, you can only be grateful to him for the fact that in a more than respectable age and in external unfavorable conditions, through his work, as a primate, the Kyiv Patriarchate is growing, gaining strength, gaining authority in society,” these are beautiful words. The only pity is that one of the biggest traitors and liars – the notorious archbishop Yevstratiy Zorya, wrote them. Now he speaks and writes in a completely different way… The place of sitting and the lack of principles and morality of this church leader make him already sing hosanna to others.

Epiphany, Yevstratiy and their political puppeteers are satisfied with the OCU in the status of a metropolis. They are satisfied with the dependence on the Greek Patriarch from Istanbul. They rejoice that they traded independence for recognition of dependence (although it should be said that even this metropolis enslaved by the Phanar was not recognized by most of the local Orthodox churches, and their primates shy away from Epiphany as if they were a leper). The ancient low self-esteem desire to have a good and distant master, perhaps, is in the blood of the OCU adherents,” writes Yuri Doroshenko.
