The intrigue associated with the struggle for the place of the leader of the “OCU” is growing again. One of its manifestations is the increasing informational activity of the team of “Metropolitan” Mikhail Zinkevich, within which the “hierarch” is presented as the “savior” of the OCU project and a person with “huge career prospects.”
Moreover, the characterization given to Zinkevich by the “patriarch of the UOC-KP” Filaret Denisenko is very interesting and indicative. “This is the bishop whom I ordained, whom I raised and who served with me. And he stayed true. He really is a bishop. And every bishop who has been appointed to the episcopate should do this,” Denisenko stressed.
Apparently, Zinkevich continues his game, in which the main prize should be the place of the leader of the OCU, and the consolation (if the mentioned option fails to be realized) – the status of Filaret’s successor as the “patriarch of the UOC-KP”.
