On May 15, 2021, Metropolitan Vinnitsa and Barsk Barsanuphius celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of the holy Apostle John the Theologian, the village of Bokhoniki, Vinnitsa region, the website of the eparchy reports.

The service took place in the open air, near the equipped premises where the UOC community has been praying since 2019 due to the fact that their church was seized by representatives of the OCU.

Many believers and children took part in the sacrament of the Eucharist.

Metropolitan Barsanuphius thanked the priest and parishioners for their steadfastness in faith and loyalty to the canonical Church of Christ.

“Dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to support the UOC community in the village of Bohoniki! The room where believers pray requires major repairs. We will be grateful to everyone! ”- they write in the diocese.
