On May 12, 2021, during the first meeting of the Holy Synod of the UOC this year, it was decided to hold a congress of monastics of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

According to the decision of the Holy Synod, a congress of monasticism of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will take place this year.

The Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra was chosen as the venue for the congress.

Also, by the decision of the Holy Synod, three monasteries were formed in the Mogilev-Podolsk, Chernivtsi-Bukovina and Lvov dioceses.
