Lutsk and Volyn eparchye of the OCU of Mikhail Zinkevich met Easter with the Holy Fire. This was reported on the website of the eparchy.

The service took place in the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.

“After the procession of the cross to the main church of the diocese, there is a lamp with a blessed fire. Traditionally, a part of the Easter Gospel was recited in different languages as a sign that Orthodoxy is a worldwide faith,” the OCU writes.

Since the creation of the OCU, the Jerusalem Patriarchate has prevented the OCU from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulcher for the descent of the Holy Fire. The fire is transmitted to the OCU by representatives of the Ukrainian embassy in Jerusalem.
