Ukrainian laurels are now in “spiritual occupation”, but the OCU does not want to take them away, because it cannot keep them. The head of the OCU Epiphany Dumenko said this on the Channel 5.
“Now two Lavras, the main Lavras, which are the property and property of the Ukrainian people, are temporarily in what I call spiritual occupation. And the time will come when the Lavra will belong to a single local Orthodox Church. It is the matter of time. Now we do not want to create another internal religious front. We see what is happening now at the borders,” he said.
