The head of the delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Jerusalem, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanych), received the Holy Fire from the hands of the Patriarch of Jerusalem. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the UOC.

“The Holy Fire has come down. The delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church received it from the hands of His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos.

“In a few hours we will arrive, with God’s blessing, in Kyiv, and every believer will be able to receive this Holy Fire into their homes, like a blessing from the Holy Sepulcher. From the place where the most magnificent event in the history of human civilization took place,” the metropolitan of the UOC addressed the Ukrainians.
