On the morning of May 1, 2021, a delegation of the UOC, headed by the manager, metropolitan Anthony (Pakanych), left for Jerusalem. This was reported on the hierarch`s Facebook page.

“On Great Saturday, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Onuphry, a delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church headed by the Administrator of the UOC, metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, went to Jerusalem with the aim of delivering the Holy Fire from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Ukraine,” the message says.

Together with metropolitan Anthony, bishop Viktor (Kotsaba) of Baryshev was also included in the delegation.
