The Odessa clergyman of the UOC-KP Pavel Karnashov, who is building a church for the Kyiv Patriarchate in the regional center, was appointed rector of the community in the town of Artsyz, Bolgrad district, Odessa region. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Odessa-Baltic diocese of the UOC-KP.

The head of the diocese Nikon Grablyuk signed the corresponding decree on April 23, 2021.

Earlier it was reported that representatives of the OCU in the city of Artsyz, Odessa region were denied the allocation of land on which the unfinished chapel stands.
