With the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Onuphriy, a group of chaplains of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will carry out the Easter spiritual mission with the Holy Fire to the ATO-OOS zone. This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

The delegation will be headed by Archpriest Vyacheslav Yakovenko, head of the pastoral care sector for internationalist soldiers and the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Synodal Department of the UOC for interaction with the Armed Forces and other military formations of Ukraine.

The official transfer of the Holy Fire to a group of clergy for the mission will take place on Bright Week Tuesday, May 4, 2021, after the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
