Intimidation continues: at night in Sadovo, supporters of the OCU flooded the priest’s house with liquid manure, the press service of the Volyn eparchy of the UOC reports.

“The calm sleep of a 5-year-old child with his mother at night turned into a real horror. The frightened boy was awakened by the sound of broken glass and the noise of an abandoned bucket, and then a smell spread through the room. As it turned out later – from the spilled manure.

These were the realities of the night from 14 to 15 April 2021 in the house of priest Vladimir Meles, who lives with his family in the village of Sadov. At 2.50 am, unknown persons came to the church house and smashed the windows, throwing 3 buckets of manure into them. One of the buckets, in fact, poured out onto the bed, where the daughter of a priest of the UOC was sleeping with her young son,” the message says.

Representatives of law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene and found that what had been done was the actions of the OCU representatives, who, without waiting for the court’s decision, were lynching and trying with all their might to evict the priest into the street. Now information about the incident has been entered by law enforcement officers in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. Investigation is ongoing.
