“Archbishop” Yevstratiy Zorya commented on the decision of the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on the consecration of Phanar`s hierarch Andrew (Sofianopoulos), which was attended by Zorya as “bishop” of the OCU. Zorya expressed his thoughts on his Facebook.
As reported, the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on April 13 expressed condolences for the participation of a person who does not have canonical ordination in the consecration of the hierarch of the Church of Constantinople.
“After reading the “Journal No. 10” of the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, a strong impression was formed that persons who do not have canonical rights in relation to Ukraine, led by a person who turned into a laughing stock and farce the trial of the protodeacon accused him (Kuraev – ed.). Accepting the 10th journal, they were inspired by the fervor of the Soviet Synod in “condemning the Karlovtsy schismatics”, – says the representative of the OCU.
According to him, “in the Russian Orthodox Church they think they are able to manage the Holy Spirit and Divine grace, the Kingdom of Heaven, and hell, with their pieces of paper.”
