There is no final decision on permission to visit churches during the Easter holidays, and “a very big discussion is expected,” said Viktor Lyashko, Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine.

“We need to find a compromise between observing quarantine restrictions and not letting someone into the temple. I think these issues will be resolved within a week,” he said.

Lyashko noted that there is already last year’s experience in conducting remote services during the Easter holidays.
