Mutual attacks and redistribution of parishes continue in the OCU. As “bishop” Afanasiy Shkurupiy (formerly a representative of the UAOC) reported on April 4, 2021 on Facebook, two of his parishes became the target of raids by his “colleague” – “bishop” Mitrofan, who entered the OCU from the UOC-KP.

“The devil organized a sabbath in the parishes of Sokolovo and Tsirkuny in the Kharkiv region and with the hands of their rectors, fr. Stanislav Ashtrafyan and fr. Oleg Kozub, removed from the parishes by me for a time, there is a rebellion with the aim of transferring parishes to another diocese. They have gathered most of the strangers who come to church only to consecrate cake, and with their help they want to complete the act of Judas’ treason successfully.

The experienced director Bishop Mitrofan leads this process. They threat that other parishes of the Kharkiv-Poltava diocese will also be taken up in order to oust Archbishop Athanasius from the Kharkiv region. These are the things we have here.
