The head of the Ministry of Veterans called the presence of the Phanar exarchate in Ukraine “a great mercy”r”

The head of the Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Yulia Laputina met with the Bishop of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine Mikhail (Anishchenko), RP reports.

“The presence of the representative office of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine is evidence of God’s great mercy for Orthodox Ukrainians. Meeting such people inspires and gives strength to work for the sake of keeping Ukraine free. They talked about the importance of supporting religious freedoms, developing spirituality in Ukraine and religious diplomacy,” wrote Yulia Laputina.

Bishop Mykhailo Anishchenko “noted the invaluable role of Ukrainian defenders in the preservation of our country and in the defense of the future of our people.”
