Former hieromonk of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Innokenty Pidtoptannyi explained that he had moved to the Pereyaslavsko-Vishnevsk eparchy of the OCU, which is headed by Metropolitan Alexander Drabinko, through “the specifics of this eparchy,” writes Religious Pravda.
“The reason why the priest turned specifically to the administrator of the Pereyaslavl-Vishnevsk eparchy of the OCU, Fr. Innokenty calls the specifics of this eparchy, since it was created specifically for clergy who decided to join the OCU from the ranks of the Moscow Patriarchate within the Kiev region,” writes the website.
