Former assistant to the head of the department of information and public relations of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Hieromonk Innokenty Pidtoptanny moved to the Pereyaslavsko-Vishnevsk eparchy of the OCU, which is headed by Metropolitan Alexander Drabinko, writes “Religious Pravda”.
The hieromonk, who was sent on indefinite leave for family reasons in November 2020, transferred to the Pereyaslavl-Vishnevsk eparchy in accordance with the submitted petition on March 13, 2021.
As noted, Pidtoptanny does not criticize anyone in the UOC, and motivates his transition by the fact that “the Orthodox Church of Ukraine was provided with a Tomos of autocephaly, and it is necessary to realize that no one will annul this document, no one will withdraw, no one will refute.”
