On March 24, 2021, the head of the UOC-KP Filaret Denisenko at his residence met with the American military, the captain of the 1st rank of the US Navy, Harry (Yuri) Tabakh. This was reported on Filaret’s Facebook page.

During the meeting, for his great help to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteer activities, Filaret presented Yuri Tabakh with the UOC KP medal “For sacrifice and love for Ukraine.”

“Ukraine will become a great country under your spiritual tutelage. In the United States, you are well known and respected,” said Yuri Tabakh, who in return presented a personal badge of the Order of Merit (Order of the Legion) with his callsign.

Yuri (Harry) Tabakh at one time was the chief of staff of the special military mission of NATO and the representative of NATO in the Russian Federation.
