Filaret expressed regret for the death of the hierarch of the OCU

The head of the UOC-KP Filaret Denisenko expressed condolences in connection with the death of the “metropolitan” of the OCU Anthony Makhota. This was reported on Filaret’s Facebook page.

“On March 23, 2021, at the age of 55, the Metropolitan of Khmelnytsky and Kamyanets-Podilsky of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Anthony (Makhota) died. Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine Filaret expressed his condolences to the clergy and parishioners of the Khmelnytsky diocese, the relatives and friends of the late lord Anthony. May our God rest his soul in the villages of the righteous,” Filaret expressed his regret.
