“They didn’t want to understand, but I’m not interested,” – the head of the Church of Cyprus on the Synod’s opinion on the OCU

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus, Archbishop Chrysostom, said that he was not interested in the opinion of the members of the Holy Synod on the OCU issue. The website Romfea quotes the words of the head of the Church of Cyprus.

When asked to comment on the situation with his recognition of the OCU, which many members of the Synod do not accept, the Cypriot primate said: “The Russians are wrong.”

“I explained to them, they didn’t want to understand. I am not interested,” the Archbishop explained his attitude to the opinion of the synodals.
