Serbian Patriarch met Russian Ambassador

Serbian Patriarch Porfirije received Aleksander Botsan-Harchenko, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 11 March 2021, informs orthodoxtimes.

Patriarch Porfirije and Aleksander Botsan-Harchenko during the audience talked about historical and current topics in relations between brotherly nations of Serbia and Russia with a goal to recognize directions of further development and the strengthening of their firm friendly relations.

The audience was attended by a member of the Holy Synod of Bishops Bishop David of Krusevac, Deputy Ambassador Andrei Tamyashov and the head of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch Deacon Aleksandar Prascevic, PhD.
