In the Cherkasy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, work has begun on the creation of an Orthodox gymnasium named after the Holy Monk Martyr Macarius. In the educational institution, children will be given primary and secondary education, writes Vzglyad.
Archbishop Feodosy of Cherkasy and Kanev at the diocesan meeting said that the gymnasium will operate under the appropriate license, and the graduates of the institution will receive school-wide certificates.
In the Orthodox gymnasium, not only children from families of priests will be able to study, but everyone who wants to receive primary and secondary education in a church educational institution.
