The head of the “Servant of the People” party, Alexander Kornienko, told whether the president’s party would vote for the bill by the leader of Eurosolidarity Petro Poroshenko (which was also signed by “Servant of the People” party) on the possibility of banning religious organizations through the courts, the Information and Education Department of the UOC reports.
Alexander Korneenko replied that there may not be a Poroshenko project, but quite a similar one.
“If we are talking about the so-called law on“ collaborators ”, then we have an alternative and there is definitely no about religious organizations, I read it. If this is a law on information security, then I think that there will also be an alternative to it. With regard to all the initiatives of the European Solidarity Party, we will most likely have alternative bills. The main ones are signed by our deputies, this is true, but we will probably talk about alternative ones and look for consensus in the committee, perhaps make a committee version. Because we come to the conclusion that the projects proposed by our colleagues do not suit us in some way. Therefore, we will offer our similar projects, “- said the Head of the “Servant of the People” party
