On February 21, 2021, the community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Dilove, Rakhiv district of the Transcarpathian region, deprived of access to their church due to the raiding of the OCU, served the Divine Liturgy in the open air. The community on this day was visited by the vicar of the Khust diocese, Bishop Simeon of Ugolsk, according to his Facebook page of the diocese.
“His Grace Simeon, Bishop of Uglya, presided over the Festive Liturgy in the Dilove, Rakhiv region, where he prayed with the community, from which the OCU schismatics took away the Holy Dormition Church,” the message says.
For the first time, the UOC community in Dilove gathered at a street service on February 12, 2021. This event caught the attention of the Greek media.
