On February 15, 2021, an online conference of representatives of the parishes of the vicariate of the UOC-KP in the USA, Canada, Australia and Japan was held. A photo confirming the participants of the conference, as well as the official announcement that all the indicated parishes of Filaret now consider themselves to be related to the OCU, was posted on Facebook by John Jaresko.

He also commented on the evidence of this event, calling it “the meeting of the parishes of the OCU”. The statement says that the participants in the meeting condemn “Patriarch” Filaret for “harming our believers”, and also confirms the decision of the vicariate of September 21, 2019 to transfer, contrary to the terms of the Tomos of the OCU, to the jurisdiction of Epiphany Dumenko.

There have not yet been any comments by the head of the OCU or representatives of Constantinople on this matter.

Also in the published statement it is noted that the vicariate announced by Filaret with the center in Philadelphia (which, by the decree of the “patriarch”, was headed by Bohdan Zgoba), has nothing to do with this structure, as well as Filaret himself, and indicating the list of these parishes on the resources of the UOC-KP is illegal.
