According to sources in the OCU, Yevstratiy Zorya is not only a patented liar, but also almost a smuggler. According to the information, now Yevstratiy is preparing for the illegal transfer of antimensions, signed by Filaret, from Ukraine to the United States.
For what? The fact is that Yevstratiy is actively subversive among the Orthodox in the United States and Canada. This path is unpromising for the American Orthodox Christians in advance, because the Constantinople Tomos directly prohibits the OCU from having its parishes outside the United States. Actually, the desire to grab the Ukrainian diaspora was one of the reasons for the provision of this document by Patriarch Bartholomew.
At the same time, God’s service can be officiated only on antimensions, and a ruling bishop issues them. If parishes in the USA and Canada depart from Filaret, they must return them to him as his property. And here’s a small problem. Epiphany Dumenko, according to the tomos, cannot issue antimensions outside the administrative borders of Ukraine. And to take an antimension from Greek bishops in America, or from representatives of the UOC in the United States, for the communities means betraying themselves and the struggle of the last decades.
So it goes: listen to Zorya, leave the Kyiv Patriarchate, find yourself without a ruling bishop, this will turn into an ordinary sect that operates outside the canons of the Orthodox Church. The path of the crafty Zorya turned out to be a dead end for the Orthodox in the United States, and even outside of the church. And here a cunning swindler in a cassock came up with an insidious plan: let the communities return the antimensions they have to Filaret, and instead he secretly brings others from Ukraine, as well as signed by Filaret. Because in the OCU, since the times of the UOC-KP, they still have patriarchal antimensions. We will not touch on the fact that serving on the antimension of Filaret, who is in the UOC-KP, and not in the OCU, and not commemorate him is absurd. True, the whole structure of the OCU, this hastily molded by Bartholomew Archondonis, Poroshenko and “Nariks”, is a complete misunderstanding.
At the same time, as the outraged diaspora residents say, Yevstratiy would not have been himself if he had not decided to make a profit on holy things (apparently, he really wants to buy another apartment in Kyiv, or even some more expensive car). It seems that it is already planned to smuggle: fifteen patriarchal antimensions to the United States, five to Canada, one to Japan and ten to Australia. Each of them will seem to be “presented” for $3000. Thirty-one multiplied by three thousand dollars and it turns out – 93,000 dollars! Quite good can turn out to be a “gain” for the red-haired archbishop on Filaret’s antimensions.
The diaspora is already outraged by this religious fraud and is preparing an appeal to representatives of the American authorities so that they will not allow the smuggling of shrines that do not belong to the OCU and Yevstratiy Zorya.
