Cathedral of Zaporizhzhya eparchy of UOC was robbed in Melitopol

On the night of February 10-11, 2021, unknown attackers robbed the cathedral in honor of the holy noble Prince Alexander Nevsky in Melitopol, Zaporozhye region. This was reported by the press service of the Zaporozhye eparchy.

Vandals entered the temple through the bell tower, breaking the door. Donation boxes were stolen from the temple.

A police squad arrived at the crime scene and recorded the offense.

The eparchian press service recalled that “Neither thieves, nor covetous people, <…> – the Kingdom of God will not inherit.” (1 Cor. 6:10).
