During the “enthronement” of the head of the OCU Epiphany Dumenko Filaret was forcibly isolated. It is informed on February 9, 2021 in a reply to the speaker of the new church structure Yevstratiy Zorya on the UOC-KP Facebook page.

The report says that Zorya “keeps silent about the fact of the forced isolation of the Patriarch during the days of the enthronement of Metropolitan Epiphany by keeping him in intensive care, despite the fact that the state of the Patriarch`s health was absolutely satisfactory. And these shameful acts were only the beginning of the isolation of the Patriarch and his removal from the leadership of the Kiev diocese”. Also it is mentioned that Filaret “never agreed to the liquidation of the UOC-KP and never submitted any application for liquidation to the Ministry of Culture”.

“The depravity of the soul and insanity of the mind helped such “sons” to put for the signature to their Father-Patriarch Filaret the Resolutions for the liquidation of the Kyiv Patriarchate, the so-called Local Council of the UOC-KP on December 15, 2018. Taking advantage of the trust of their father, the “sons” deceivingly convinced the Patriarch that this was a conditional liquidation of the Kyiv Patriarchate, as a requirement of the Greeks for the holding of the Unifying Council. It was blatant and outright blackmail”, the UOC-KP states.

Also, the authors of the message claim that it was Zorya who committed the forgery of documents: “It was you, whom, as his discuple and son, His Holiness Filaret instructed to negotiate with the Greeks on the eve of the above gatherings. It was you who already knew the content of the decisions of the Local Council for the liquidation of the UOC-KP. And the Patriarch was not even given the opportunity to see their text, having read only the title and the first paragraph during the council. The Patriarch trusted only his sons and followers of the work of his whole life, therefore he blindly signed a document, and you used it”.
