The Facebook page of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” published an appeal from “the manager of the Kyiv Patriarchate” Andriy to the “Archbishop of Chernigov OCU” Evstratii Zora.Telegram channel “Pravblog” commented this publication.

Zorya was called on to stop interfering in the activities of the UOC-KP parishes abroad both in Europe and in the United States. They also asked not to disseminate “frankly untrue information” about Filaret’s allegedly critical health condition.

It seems that OCU is actively preparing the ground for the raider seizure of the remaining assets of the Kiev Patriarchate, counting on the early death of the elderly Filaret.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that the “restored” “Kyiv Patriarchate” is being held up precisely by the authority of the “honorary patriarch” among Ukrainian schismatics. When he is gone, this structure will face the need to find a new leader, who will face the task of preserving Filaret’s legacy and withstanding the pressure of the OCU.

Most likely, the moment of psychological depression and restructuring of Filaret’s supporters, after his death, will be used by the OCU leadership in order to quickly squeeze out a number of real estate objects that are in use by the UOC-KP. And also in order to convince a significant number of her parishes to go to the “OCU”. Or, similarly, capture their temples.
