In Odessa, a court session was held on the claim of the UOC-KP against the “bishop” of the OCU Pavel Yuristy. As the lawyer of the Kyiv Patriarchate Neonila Tkachenko informed on facebook, during the consideration it turned out that the registration file of the diocese, which should have been in the Odessa City Council, had disappeared.

The preliminary information of the state register of legal entities about the location of the diocese’s registration file in the Odessa City Council was not confirmed, Tkachenko reports. The plaintiff will make a corresponding request to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy and the State Service for Religious Affairs.

Earlier, the Primorsky District Court ordered the state registrar of the legal department of the Odessa City Council to provide duly certified copies of the registration file of a religious organization called the “Diocesan Administration of the Odessa-Balta Diocese of the UOC-KP”.

As reported, Tkachenko asked the court to provide evidence in a civil case in her claim against the leadership of the local “diocese” of the OCU, which arose as a result of the re-registration of the UOC-KP.
